The Maruti XL6 is powered by K15C Smart Hybrid, 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology that is available on the Ciaz and Ertiga. It produces 100 bhp and 137 Nm of torque and comes paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
About Maruti XL6
The Ertiga-based Maruti XL6 features a trapezoidal grille with a chrome bar in the centre. The grille is flanked by redesigned headlamp clusters that appear to have LEDs. The dual-tone front bumper is also new and features circular fog lamps and a silver skid plate.
Moving to the side, the XL6 has black plastic cladding around the wheel arches. It also has black cladding with a silver insert along the door sills. The car has blacked-out B and C-pillars, roof rails, black ORVMs with integrated turn signals and chrome door handles. It is riding on black alloy wheels.
On the inside, the XL6 will be offered with separate captain seats in the second row. It is likely to get a black dashboard with faux wood trim and silver inserts. It is also expected to come with a touchscreen infotainment system.
